Google’s extraordinarily simple homepage available for all.

Google’s homepage has been showing off some rather clever effects over the last week.

For most you get the standard homepage, for others, you’ll see an empty page aside from the logo and giant search field. The moment you move the mouse, the rest of the page “fades into view”.

Commenters are reporting the effect seems to be happening randomly but if you’d like a more permanent fix, Google Blogoscoped has discovered a solution.
